This year, Etsy witches have surged in popularity on social media, offering everything from romance spells to methods for manifesting fame. Intriguingly, they also claim to assist in becoming a crypto millionaire!
The once-dreaded practice of witchcraft, historically punishable by death, has transformed into a trending topic on TikTok.
On the online marketplace Etsy, which features handmade beanies and custom dog collars, spellcasters have found a vibrant community, despite a ban on “metaphysical services.”
Become a millionaire with this one simple spell
A listing discovered by Cointelegraph offers personalized crypto spells featuring a “powerful manifestation ritual that aligns with the user’s own crypto investments and portfolio.
“Are you prepared to enhance your cryptocurrency portfolio and draw in unyielding prosperity? This Custom Crypto Spell is designed to attract wealth, magnify your energy, and synchronize your trading achievements with the abundance flow,” the listing states.
The seller provides basic spells for $20, while for more substantial results, buyers “need” to pay up to $42 for an advanced spell or $73 for the crypto “millionaire spell.”
Details remain ambiguous. The seller mentions that they will assist in manifesting abundance related to the buyer’s financial ambitions, and realigning personal energy with “the flow of prosperity in crypto markets.”
No specific timeframes are given, accompanied by a disclaimer stating: “all readings are for spiritual guidance and entertainment. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.”
The trend doesn’t stop at witchcraft. Other sellers on Etsy provide services like “Bitcoin Oracle Cards,” enabling clients to glimpse their futures. These cards are reportedly infused with “magic, love,” and “crypto spirit.”
Additionally, there is a “Dogecoin wealth ritual” service, with minimal details but seemingly involving the seller using candles and crystals in a video to create the atmosphere for casting the tailored DOGE spell. Buyers also receive downloadable images featuring positive affirmations.
The crypto community has taken note of this trend, with some expressing mockery.
In a post on Thursday within the r/Bitcoin subreddit, a user “spacticity” claimed to have “paid an Etsy witch” to cast a spell to ensure Bitcoin (BTC) reaches $200,000 by January 2027.

“I also informed her it was acceptable if Bitcoin surged higher before then, but the spell needs to ensure it rises. She lit a candle and used some moon water or something similar, I’m unclear on the specifics,” the user wrote, adding:
“This is a sure thing, it’s fool-proof, and it won’t backfire, so make sure to invest now while the opportunity lasts.”
Who’s paying for witchcraft on Etsy
While some budding witchcraft accounts display low sales, others with a longer history have achieved thousands of sales, earning feedback ratings ranging from 4.5 to 5 stars.
One shop named “NaturalisticBlessing,” which also provides services like palm readings along with spells, has been active on Etsy for four years and has reached an impressive 120,000 sales at an average price of $18 per item.
