This year, Etsy witches have taken social media by storm — offering everything from romance spells to manifesting fame. Guess what? They’re also claiming to help you become a crypto millionaire!
Once a crime punishable by death, witchcraft has become a hot topic on TikTok.
Etsy, the online marketplace for handmade goods like beanies and custom dog collars, has transformed into a hub for spellcasters, even with a ban on “metaphysical services.”
Unlock Wealth with One Easy Spell
One listing found by Cointelegraph features custom crypto spells, which are described as a “powerful manifestation ritual that combines spiritual alignment” with the buyer’s crypto investments and portfolio.
“Are you primed to enhance your cryptocurrency endeavors and draw in boundless prosperity? This Custom Crypto Spell aims to magnetize wealth, amplify your energy, and synchronize your trading success with the flow of abundance,” the description states.
The seller provides basic spells for $20, while buyers wishing for larger returns can “need” to pay up to $42 for an advanced spell or $73 for the crypto “millionaire spell.”
The description remains vague. The seller mentions aiding clients in manifesting abundance relative to their financial aspirations and aligning personal energy with “the prosperity flow of the crypto markets.”
No specific time frames are provided, and there’s a disclaimer stating: “all readings are for spiritual guidance and entertainment. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.”
The offerings extend beyond witchcraft. Numerous Etsy sellers provide services like “Bitcoin Oracle Cards,” which allow clients to divine their future. These cards are reportedly infused with “magic, love,” and “crypto spirit.”
Another service, a “Dogecoin wealth ritual,” comes with little explanation, but it seems to involve the seller using items like candles and crystals in a video to create the right ambiance for casting a customized DOGE spell. Downloadable images with positive affirmations are included as well.
The crypto community hasn’t missed this trend, with some quick to mock it.
A post from Thursday in the r/Bitcoin community featured a user named “spacticity” claiming to have “paid an Etsy witch” to ensure that Bitcoin (BTC) reaches $200,000 by January 2027.

“I also mentioned that it would be fine if Bitcoin climbed even higher, but the spell needs to drive the price up. She lit a candle and used some moon water or something — I don’t know the details,” they stated, adding:
“This is a sure thing, it’s fool-proof, and it couldn’t go wrong, so make sure to buy now while you still can.”
Who’s Buying Witchcraft on Etsy?
These unique offerings are part of a wider trend on the platform, featuring many Etsy witches and wizards providing spells for everything from financial abundance to favorable weather and romance.
While some new witchcraft shops have modest sales numbers, others with longer histories have garnered thousands of sales, with ratings hovering between 4.5 and 5 stars.
One seller named “NaturalisticBlessing,” which also provides palm readings in addition to spells, has been active on Etsy for four years and has achieved an impressive 120,000 sales at a general price of $18 per item.
