Trevor Filter, co-founder of Flexa, mentioned that the partnership has been in development for several years and aligns with Bealls Inc.’s 110th anniversary.

Bealls will use Flexa Payment, an all-in-one solution for merchants, allowing acceptance of major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as meme coins like Dogecoin, from over 300 supported wallets. This solution can seamlessly integrate with existing retail systems, enabling quick in-store transactions that benefit from the rapid settlement times of blockchain payments.
The use of cryptocurrencies in everyday transactions is steadily increasing as more consumers seek new ways to utilize their digital assets. Bealls reports that around 28% of American adults now own cryptocurrency, with this number on the rise.
Many leading retailers are also embracing digital currencies as the demand for alternative payment options grows in both physical and online stores.
Metro, a significant player in Singapore’s retail sector, started accepting stablecoins like USDC and USDT this year through a partnership with DTCPAY.
Chipotle, a major American chain, began accepting cryptocurrencies in 2022, also partnering with Flexa. More recently, in March of this year, Steak ‘N Shake, another American fast-food chain, began accepting Bitcoin.
