Ensemble, a decentralized platform for artificial intelligence agents, has partnered with the enterprise-grade messaging protocol XMTP to enhance the adoption of AI agents within decentralized messaging systems.
Summary
- The AI agents platform Ensemble has teamed up with the messaging protocol XMTP.
- This collaboration will enable Ensemble to deliver chat-native experiences to users.
- XMTP supports web3 protocols like Base, Lens, and Farcaster.
This collaboration facilitates Ensemble’s expansion of its Agent Hub marketplace, allowing users to utilize XMTP for a chat-centric agent economy.
With XMTP managing close to 1 million identities and over 63 million activated wallets, this partnership enables Ensemble users to pay for autonomous agents directly from their wallets or through any applications built on XMTP, all without changing platforms.
“AI agents are swiftly becoming essential in how people operate and interact online, but until now, they’ve been confined to isolated apps and platforms. With Ensemble building on XMTP, they’re creating a chat-native agent economy that functions everywhere the XMTP network is available, spanning wallets, social apps, and the XMTP protocols. This marks significant progress toward a world where secure, decentralized messaging links people, AI, and money seamlessly,” remarked Peter Denton of XMTP.
What does this mean for Ensemble?
Ensemble stands to gain from XMTP’s infrastructure, simplifying complex workflows into user-friendly, chat-oriented experiences. The integration offers similar messaging functionalities for decentralized protocols already employed in top web3 applications, including Base, Farcaster, and Lens.
Ensemble’s advancements in the AI agents arena comprise a decentralized finance alert service with tiered subscriptions that users can purchase directly via chat. The protocol is also exploring a DeFi analyst agent set to provide features such as on-the-spot analysis, quotes, and pay-per-query capabilities.
Users will have the ability to request and receive results within the same XMTP message thread.
The platform is also considering AI agents for much more intricate workflows, such as yield farming optimization queries.
“Our goal is to democratize access to AI agents, making them reliable, accessible, and beneficial for everyone,” states Shamir Ozery, co-founder and CEO of Ensemble.
Ensemble collaborates with XMTP as the latter aims to leverage a $20 million funding round to boost the growth and adoption of its web3 messaging infrastructure stack.
