Thesis, a blockchain venture studio, has announced the appointment of Victoria Chan as its new chief operating officer, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
This new appointment supports the company’s efforts to expand its BitcoinFi ecosystem and comes on the heels of Mezo’s launch in May and Thesis‘ acquisition of the Bitcoin rewards platform Lolli last month.
Chan brings over 20 years of experience as an operations leader in technology, having most recently served as the director of global developer services at Coinbase (COIN), where she managed vendor and operational teams in the realms of blockchain operations, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and developer tools, focusing on scaling products like WaaS and Base.
Prior to her time at Coinbase, Chan dedicated more than a decade to Google (GOOG), overseeing global partner operations, professional services, and product support.
“Throughout my career, I’ve recognized the intrinsic value of merging blockchain technology with traditional internet framework,” Chan stated in the release.
“Thesis stands at the forefront of this digital revolution with products like Fold, Mezo, and now Lolli, harnessing the potential of Bitcoin for everyday use,” Chan further commented.
In her role as COO, Chan will manage daily operations across the venture studio’s portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment and execution in product development, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to facilitate the company’s growth.
Founded in 2014, Thesis is committed to developing products on Bitcoin to promote a sovereign digital future.
