Kraken, the cryptocurrency exchange set to go public in the U.S. early next year, has introduced an exclusive VIP program designed for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, skilled traders, and strategic capital managers, as announced by the company.
Crypto exchanges aim to bridge the gap in providing personalized services for affluent clients, family offices, and private investors. Recently, Binance, the largest crypto trading platform, rolled out a “prestige” service for clients boasting a net worth of up to $10 million.
The Kraken VIP program includes “enhanced client service and unique experiences,” according to their press release. Each participant is paired with a dedicated VIP Relationship Manager, supported by 24/7 assistance, direct multichannel access, and early insights into Kraken’s comprehensive product offerings.
Participants also gain access to Kraken’s subject-matter experts across product, engineering, liquidity, custody, and infrastructure, delivering insights to enhance their trading experience, as detailed in the press materials.
“Ultra high-net-worth clients seek more than just speed—they look for a partner who aligns with their ambitions and comprehends the significance of true scale. Kraken VIP was created with them in mind. It provides unmatched access, influence, and an elevated experience that cannot be found elsewhere in the digital asset landscape,” stated Arjun Sethi, Kraken’s Co-CEO.
Kraken is also offering its VIP members access to “extraordinary experiences,” such as Formula 1 events, football matches, cultural activities, and exclusive regional meet-ups not open to the general public.
To join Kraken VIP, individuals must maintain an average balance of $10 million on the platform or execute an annual trading volume of $80 million.
