Citadel Wallet, a prominent innovator in crypto hardware solutions, has introduced Suiball, the first hardware wallet developed exclusively for the Sui (SUI) blockchain. Unveiled at SuiFest, Suiball aims to deliver a secure and user-friendly experience for the next generation of crypto enthusiasts.
Suiball features “clear signing,” a functionality intended to mitigate the risks associated with traditional blind signing. In contrast to older wallets in which users approve transactions without fully understanding them, clear signing reveals every aspect of a transaction in a straightforward, human-readable format. This ensures users comprehend exactly what they are authorizing, enhancing security for digital asset management.
“With clear signing, Suiball provides a level of transaction transparency that is critical as BTCfi and other high-value applications expand throughout the network,” stated Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and CTO of Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui.
Extensive Sui Ecosystem Integration
Suiball supports all native Sui assets, which include WAL, DEEP, NS, and NFTs.
Additionally, it integrates with the broader Sui ecosystem, being compatible with well-known DeFi platforms such as Suilend, Bluefin, Cetus, and Ika, while also supporting native Bitcoin (BTC) and BTC-centric DeFi products. With approximately 30% of Sui’s total value locked in BTC assets, these integrations establish Suiball as an essential tool for managing valuable holdings and engaging in cross-chain applications.
Looking ahead, Citadel Wallet aims to enhance Suiball’s functionalities to address more use cases, including gaming and payments.
